gwotton@cogeco.ca BioA student of religion and occultism I have taken an immersive approach to studying and understanding various cultures and religons. In order to better understand Judaism, for example, I spent two years studying at an Orthodox Synagouge. I've also received initiations in various mystery traditions and have worked with a variety of magical and occult systems. I have published a few articles and lectured at the University of Ottawa on various aspects of the Western Mystery Tradition.
I am also a musician and play many instruments including guitar, flute, harp and sacred drums.
As a student of culture I am also a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism in the Barony of Skraeling Althing in the Kingdom of Ealdormere.
I love animals, especially cats and horses, and am never far from such younger siblings.
I retired from the computer technology industry when I became disabled and am now finishing my undergraduate degree in religions and cultures at Nipissing Univeristy.
I have recently re-discovered anime and manga and have been voraciously downloading fan-subs of some really excellent stories. North American TV has NOTHING on this stuff. Imagine a storyline that runs longer that 22 minutes. It's great stuff.
